    The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Caracas kindly informs that the National Academic Exchange Agency has announced recruitment for a free Polish language course: Summer Polish Language and Culture Courses 2018. The aim of the program is to teach and promote Polish language and culture by enabling foreign students free participation in three- and four-weeks courses organized in Poland.

    Foreigners who apply electronically by April 15th and meet the following criteria may apply for participation in the program:

    -are students enrolled at foreign universities;

    -do not have Polish citizenship;

    -do not study in Poland in the academic year 2017/2018;

    -are already studying Polish or speak English at the minimum level B1.

    Dates of courses: 1-22 July, 1-29 July, 1-22 August and 1-29 August 2018



    The web site gives access by a single click to all the information about university studies in Poland for foreigners. You could find there many readings and tips needed for studying in our country. Poland has a very good system of higher education, with many opportunities for its students.


    Thanks to the search engine Studyfinder it is possible to find not only degrees in foreign language but also “non-degree” studies (i.e. MBA) in Poland. As of today, the data base –updated by both the public and private universities themselves- contains more than 500 study plans.

    Recruitment for the Polish Scholarship Program

    The scholarship program for the Polish diaspora aims at enabling Polish youth to study in Poland and improve their knowledge of the Polish language. The program offers the possibility of completing first-cycle, and MA studies, in Polish language, at universities subordinate to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and monthly scholarships of the National Academic Exchange Agency to cover the cost of living.

    People of Polish origin can apply to higher education in Poland. 


    People interested in starting studies in Poland in October 2014 with no annual preparatory course, should deliver the candidacy form up to May 25 and to contact with the chosen university in order to learn its own recruitment rules. People with double nationality can apply under the rules in force for Polish citizens. People who does not speak Polish have the opportunity to take the annual preparatory course.


    Applications must be sent to the Office for the Recognition of International Education and Exchange (BUWiWM).
